MANILA – A young workforce is helping drive demand for co-working spaces in the Philippines, flexible office provider Regus said Monday.
The Philippines has one of the youngest populations in Southeast Asia with an average age of 23.7 compared to 27 in Malaysia and 37 in Thailand, Regus Philippines country manager Lars Wittig said.
Regus has 7,500 work stations across 30 locations in the Philippines, Wittig told ANC. Co-working space providers are looking at evolving regulations in China, which could affect office space demand in outsourcing sites like the Philippines, he said.
